Alex received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania with Gold Metal recognition by the faculty and the American Institute of Architects for his overall achievements and scholarship. Among his other distinctions are the Silver Medal for design and co-editing the schools annual journal, VIA 9. His Bachelors of arts is from Lehigh University, where he graduated magna cum laude, majoring in architecture.
Alex trained and practiced with two prominent firms in New Jersey, Phillip S. Kennedy-Grant, FAIA of Bernardsville and The Rosen Group in Summit. Prior to these firms, Alex gained extensive business expierence in sales, marketing and manufacturing with both small and global corporations for internet technology textiles.
Alex is licensed to practice architecture in the State of New Jersey as well as NCARB (National Council of Architecture Registration Boards) certification for reciprocal licensing with most other states. Alex is president of the American Institute of Architects Newark and Suburban Section He has been certified by the State of California Emergency Management Agency for Safety Assessment during disaster recovery efforts.
